Malaysia and South Korea.
Abacus Software Division,
Inc. began its software consulting practice in
1982, providing services to business, industry,
institutions and government. The company selected the abacus, the first computing machine, as it's logo and it is set to show the date of the company's incorporation.
Prashant H. Fadia,
an entrepreneur and a computer science specialist,
established the company in California. Abacus'
East Coast office is headquartered in Burlington,
Massachusetts.
Current President and CEO, Saluni Fadia, has been leading the company since Prashant passed away in September 2005. Her extensive administative and consulting background
have allowed her to successfully manage the growth of the company’s network of consultants and clients. As Director of The Prashant H. Fadia Foundation she continues to pursue her husband's dedciation to community services.

Abacus' IT Consulting Practice is managed from
its facilities located in the high-tech corridor
of Route 128 in Massachusetts. The contract consulting
practice has been growing at an exceptionally
high rate each year since its inception.
Abacus' consulting practice was
developed in Burlington, Massachussettes in 1995,
to address what we believe are the future trends
in Information Technology, Enterprise Systems
and Web Technology. The SAP R/3 has unleashed
an unprecedented computing capability affecting
enterprise applications in virtually every industry
and it remains our prime focus.
Our other strong domain of expertise
is in Web technologies like .Net, Java and Datawarehousing
which continue to impact the very nature of how
businesses operate in the new millennium.
